THREE teenagers being questioned by police after a 17-year-old boy fell to his death from a fourth-floor window have been released on bail, police said last night.
The three teenagers, aged 15 to 19, were questioned by officers from Cleveland Police following the death of the 17-year-old in Hartlepool last night.
The youth, who has not been named, died when he plunged to the ground from a property in Church Street, at 10.30pm, on Saturday.
A force spokesman said: "The three youths have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
"This is a tragic loss of life of a young man, and we are anxious to trace witnesses who were in Church Street at about 10.30pm."
Police said the death was being treated as suspicious.
