Broadcasters continued to make changes to schedules yesterday to provide further coverage of the Queen Mother's death.
BBC1 axed That Was Life, Antiques Roadshow and Blackadder Goes Forth last night to make way for the second part of an obituary programme.
A BBC spokesman said today's schedules were subject to change depending on any developments.
Music was again being toned down to reflect the news, the BBC said.
Special programming for ITV included special news bulletins, while Channel 4 postponed an edition of Gifted.
Channel 5 took off the show You Know What I'm Saying but, otherwise, was able to maintain its schedules by cutting advertisement breaks.
