A TOWN from the region has scored a bullseye in a national championship tour.
Australian Tony David, 34, Embassy World champion darts player, and women's world title holder Trina Gulliver, 32, will demonstrate their skills at Hartlepool Catholic Club, in Marlowe Road, on Thursday, April 18.
They are visiting the club with TV darts commentator Tony Green, famous for his catchphrase "one hundred and eighty".
Their visit is part of a 20- night UK tour of the Embassy World Darts roadshow.
Jack Jones, secretary of the Hartlepool Midweek Darts League, said: "Everyone is really looking forward to the Embassy World Darts roadshow returning to Hartlepool.
"We had a fantastic time at the roadshow last year, and to have two world champions in action is a terrific bonus for all local darts enthusiasts.''
Darts fans will be able to take part in an Embassy Bullseye Challenge at the club.
