A housing plan for part of Hartlepool is being drawn up with the help of the community.
People living in the town's New Deal for Communities (NDC) area - from Hart Lane to Belle Vue - are drawing up the community housing plan to determine how more than £20m will be spent on improving housing and the environment in the next seven years.
Residents from across the NDC being invited to attend a series of workshops to discuss options for their own streets.
NDC director, Malcolm Walker, said: "We have had a lot of very positive feedback about the workshops that have so far taken place in the north of the New Deal area and what residents have got out of them.
"However, we still want people to come along and join in the discussions."
The NDC area in Hartlepool has received £54m of Government money to spend over ten years. Projects aim to improve health, raise education standards, reduce crime, improve housing and the environment, create jobs and build a stronger community.
The remaining north area workshops will be held at the Nursery Inn tomorrow from 6pm to 8.30pm (Richardson Street and Jobson Street) and on Tuesday from 6pm until 8.30pm (Rodney Street).
The final workshop will be on Thursday, April 11, from 6.30pm until 8.30pm in the Hartlepool Supporters' Club, Sandringham Road (Collingwood Road, Brook Street, part of Sandringham Road and Raeburn Street).
