A COMMUNITY group is appealing for an old boat to help with an east Cleveland town's flower display.
Saltburn has been a key figure in the Northumbria In Bloom competition for several years.
This year it has been entered in the seaside town category.
Organiser Jackie Taylor would like to have a boat on Marine Parade, which a group of volunteers will then fill with bulbs and flowers.
Mrs Taylor said the boat should be between 12 and 18 feet long and preferably made from plastic rather than wood.
Anyone who can help is asked to call Mrs Taylor on (01287) 624046.
