PHOTOGRAPHER Lynne Brereton, from Studio 81 in Darlington, has won a place in the finals of the Master Photographers Association and Fuji Film classic kids competition.
Her picture of Andrew Addision, five, from Romaldkirk, secured her a place in the final in September.
For winning the regional competition Andrew received £100. If his picture wins the national final he will get £5,000.
Last year, Lynne won the UK Cherub Master Photographer of the Year Award for the second time.
The classic kids competition is continuing, and offers families a free studio session and free entry to the competition. It is open to children aged three to six.
The cherub competition is open to babies in their first year.
