A THEATRICAL family will tread the boards together at one of the North-East's premier venues.
Three members of the Richardson family, of Coniston Drive, Sacriston, County Durham, will appear in the West End Operatic Society's production of Carousel, which runs at the Theatre Royal, Newcastle, from April 15 to 20.
Chris Richardson takes the lead role of Billy Bigelow, his wife Lynn plays the part of Carrie, and son Kyle, nine, is one of the Snow Children.
Other local people appearing in the show include John Robinson, of Fulwell, Sunderland, who has been involved in showbusiness for 30 years, and the Shield family, of Newton Hall, County Durham.
The musical, by Rodgers and Hammerstein, features classic songs such as You'll Never Walk Alone, June is Bustin' Out All Over, and Mister Snow.
