MULTI-TALENTED celebrity Toyah Wilcox will be putting both her acting and presenting skills to the test in York.
She visited the city yesterday to film scenes for a BBC Songs of Praise programme at York Minster, having already visited the Merchant Adventurers' Hall with camera crews in tow.
Later this summer, Miss Wilcox will be part of a boost for the York arts scene when the city's traditional Mystery Plays are performed in the open air once again. After a lengthy absence from the city's streets, this year's production, bringing the Gospel to the people, will be presented by York's historic guilds, with Miss Wilcox appearing as a shepherd.
