A STUDENT charged with the murder of a woman whose body was found in a suitcase has appeared in court accused of killing another young woman.
The decomposing body of Hyo Jung Jin, a 21-year-old South Korean student, was found, bound and gagged, dumped near York last November.
Kyu Soo Kim, 30, was charged with her murder and faces trial at the Old Bailey on September 30.
He appeared at the Old Bailey yesterday charged with the second murder, of another Korean student, In Hea Song, 22.
Police believe that both women had lived at the same address, in Eagle Street, London.
They did not stay there at the same time, and were not known to each other.
Miss Jin was last seen at Victoria Station, London, on November 17, boarding a coach en route toYorkshire.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police have been liaising with the Metropolitan Police following the discovery of Miss Jin's body.
Kim was remanded in custody and is due to reappear at court in May 7 when he is expected to enter pleas for both deaths.
