The Queen Mother's funeral service begins at 11.30am tomorrow.
Here is a timetable of the main events:
* 06.00: Westminster Hall is closed to the public.
* 10.30: The general congregation is seated at Westminster Abbey.
* 10.35: Foreign heads of state and other VIPs begin arriving.
* 10.50: Members of the royal family walking in the funeral procession arrive at the abbey.
* 11.00: Other royals leave Buckingham Palace by car, ahead of the Queen.
* 11.02: The last vigil leaves Westminster Hall.
* 11.10: The bearer party lifts the coffin from the catafalque and carries it to the gun carriage, outside the North Door.
* 1.12: The Queen leaves from Buckingham Palace in the royal Rolls-Royce.
* 11.16: The Queen arrives at the abbey's Great West Door.
* 11.18: The Queen and royals process along the abbey's centre aisle to their seats.
* 11.25: The gun carriage halts outside the abbey's West Gate.
* 11.30: The coffin is carried into the abbey and the service begins.
* 12.25: At the conclusion of the service, the coffin is carried in a royal and ecclesiastical procession to a hearse, outside the West Gate.
* 12.35: The car procession, accompanied by the Prince of Wales, leaves Westminster Abbey for St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
* 12.40: The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh leave the abbey by car.
* 12.45: The Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flies over Buckingham Palace and The Mall.
* 1.50: The funeral cortege arrives at Windsor Castle. The coffin is carried into St George's Chapel, within the castle grounds.
During the afternoon, the Queen and family members travel by road to Windsor, from Buckingham Palace.
Early in the evening, the coffin is interred in George VI Memorial Chapel, Windsor, along with the ashes of Princess Margaret, in a private family service.
