JOBSEEKERS with a head for heights and a love of good food and drink are being offered the chance to get to the top.
Catering training opportunities are available for the Rooftop Restaurant, Riverside Restaurant and Caf Bar within Baltic, The Centre for Contemporary Art, on Gates-head Quays.
The centre is due to open on July 13, with food and drink operators Tom and Eugene McCoy, and Marcus Bennett from the Tontine, in North Yorkshire, running the restaurants and bar.
Councillor John McElroy, Gateshead Council cabinet member for jobs and employment, said: "Working inside Baltic will be a unique experience.
"The project itself is very exciting, and the views from the building, particularly from the rooftop restaurant, will be spectacular."
Jobseekers who would like more information about the employment opportunities at Baltic, should call Gateshead Council's employment and training hotline on 0191-477 3747 by Wednesday.
