A market town is helping to spread the "wish you were here" message via a series of picture postcards featuring its town crier.
Dubbed the Nancy of Knaresborough series, the colour postcards spell out the old world charm of the town.
They have been produced by the town's Chamber of Trade and Commerce, showing town crier Nancy Buckle at various tourist hotspots in the town.
The postcards have been launched to coincide with the start of the tourist season.
One features the view from the castle grounds 120ft above the River Nidd. It is said that King John enjoyed the same view while staying in the nearby 13th Century castle.
The town centre bowling green and castle gardens are also featured, along with a stunning view of the Forest of Knaresborough.
Miss Buckle, 58, a former nursing sister, said: "I'm delighted that the cards are ready to spread the word about Knaresborough, and I'm sure that they will reach all around the country and far beyond it.
"People love to find out about the history of the place when they come here."
Publication of the postcards has been made possible by her employer, the local chamber of trade, which donated £700 to the project.
The postcards have been placed on sale at a number of outlets.
