A plan has been submitted to Darlington town council to build two three-bedroomed houses in Parkside to accommodate disabled people.
The proposal has been submitted by Three Rivers Housing Association, which has developed similar schemes in the town since the early 1990s.
The homes will be managed by the national organisation, United Response, a charity which specialises in supporting people with learning disabilities
