POLICE have made an arrest following thefts from vehicles in the Bishop Auckland area.
A 37-year-old man is helping police with their inquiries after he was arrested in possession of a radio allegedly stolen from a car in Clarence Gardens, Bishop Auckland.
Sergeant Kevin Tuck warned drivers to stay alert after a spate of thefts from vehicles in Bishop Auckland town centre. A total of 13 vehicles have been broken into since the beginning of March and a further two were broken into over the weekend.
