LEISURE bosses in Hartlepool have unveiled their latest recreation guide, which contains dozens of ideas for things to do in the town.
The free, 16-page booklet - called Recreation - includes information about sports courses, countryside walks and wildlife events in the town.
There are also details and a map of a circular walk from Summerhill, which takes in three of the surrounding villages.
Caine Spence, of Hartlepool Borough Council, said yestererday: "When you take a close look, there are a tremendous amount of sport and recreation opportunities for people in Hartlepool.
"The booklet gives details of all the recreation services provided by Hartlepool Borough Council, as well as some others provided by other organisations.
"It is certainly worth getting hold of your copy and keeping it in your magazine rack."
Copies can be obtained from the town's libraries, the Civic Centre, Mill House Leisure Centre, Eldon Grove Community Sports Centre and Summerhill.
Support for the booklet has come from the Countryside Agency.
