A TOWN is hoping for a big clean-up this weekend ahead of judging for a competition.
Judging for Northumbria In Bloom takes place in Saltburn next week, and ahead of that there will be several clean-up operations run by volunteers who are hoping more local people will come and join them to take a pride in their town.
A litter pick takes place in the town centre at 10am, on Saturday, while a beach clean-up goes ahead from the pier at 11am.
Clean-ups are also held on Monday and Tuesday when bags and gloves will be provided at a outside stall in the town centre.
People wanting to help should turn up on the day
