EX-Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman and comedian Joe Pasquale are among the stars coming to Darlington this summer.

Darlington Civic theatre has announced a packed programme of music, drama and comedy for the season.

The former Stone brings his band the Rhythm Kings for one night only, while Joe Pasquale has a new show.

Other highlights include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Willy Russell's Blood Brothers, and Harold Pinter's Betrayal.

The 1970s pop favourites 10cc present a performance of hits, including I'm Not In Love, Rubber Bullets and The Things We Do For Love.

There is also tribute band, Think Floyd, and a night of jazz with the Chris Barber Jazz and Blues Band.

The Special Magic Of Louis Armstrong, Pipelines with Kathryn Tickell, and a night of Cajun music is also on the agenda.

Children's entertainment has not been forgotten either. Starlight Wonder, The Gruffalo. Moon Magic and Peter and the Wolf, are in the programme.
