The Dragonflies maintained their place at the top of the league with two clear victories. Beating second placed Newbottle 2-1 with an excellent footballing display with goals from Johnny Hosler and Joe Hirst. In their second game defeating Redhouse Whites 4- 0 goals from Ramm 2, Nunney and Jordan Simpson. The Hornets continued their unbeaten run taking maximum points this weekend. In the first game they beat Chester Athletic 2-0 in an entertaining top of the table clash. The game was decided by two superb strikes from Luke
Sproates, and another clean sheet for MoM Matty Dobinson. In the second game the Hornets beat Easington Kestrels 3-0 with a well deserved hat-trick for MoM Charlie D'Arcy. The Under nines Midges run of three games unbeaten came to an end with a 4-0 defeat from Kestrel Youth.
