Bishop Auckland are making their final preparations for their last ever game at Kingsway next Saturday.

Assuming Bishops don't end up in the play-offs with a dramatic late slump, then the home game against Bradford will be the last at Kingsway to end over a century of history.

The match against Bradford kicks off at 1pm, and club officials have asked that fans arrive in plenty of time.

Their penultimate home game was a drab 0-0 draw with Marine on Wednesday night, with very few chances in the game.

The point moves Bishops three points ahead of Colwyn Bay, with a game in hand.

Spennymoor, meanwhile, are in the play-off positions after they beat Farsley Celtic 2-1 at the Brewery Field on Tuesday night.

However, the match was marred by controversy, with Anthony Lee sent off just before half time for allegedly throwing a punch.

Manager Tony Lee said; "Anthony was dismissed after the linesman, who was standing over 50 yards away, said he thought he saw a punch thrown."

The referee didn't see the incident and acted on the linesman's advice. He also sent Lee senior out of the dugout.

Lee junior gave Bishops the lead when he scored after 18 minutes, but Farsley, who had former Hartlepool player Damien Henderson in their line up, levelled after 70 minutes when Steve Hutt was adjudged to have committed a foul in the area, and Chris Newton scored from the spot.

After Lee Ellison hit the bar, Stephen Bell charged through and scored at the second attempt with four minutes left.

Whitby did their survival hopes a power of good by winning 2-0 at Emley, their third victory inside a week. Lee Ure scored both goals for Whitby, who are now seven points above the danger zone.

Bamber Bridge, Bishops opponents on Saturday, are now relegated.
