The three top darts teams all recorded good wins to retain their unbeaten record and set up a mouth-watering competition for the title. Byers Green and Cockton Hill share the top spot six points ahead of Crook Belle Vue, who have a match in hand. There were darts maximums last week for Doug McCarthy and Dave Byrne of Crook Belle Vue, Robin Douthwaite and Billy Steele of Cockton Hill, Brian Sheldon of Byers Green and Wilf Percival of Newfield. The star of the week however was Paul Knighton of Crook Belle Vue with a maximum, a 14 darts finish and the best check-out of the week with 130.
Willington and Byers Green share the top spot in the dominoes section with the Prospect just a point behind. Cockton Hill share the top spot in the pool section with the Victoria, with Crowtrees one behind and Crook Belle Vue and Ferryhill just a further point adrift but with a match in hand.

Willington Ladies League
Ithe quarter finals of the League Double Darts Knock-oOut Cup the league runners-up from Sunnybrow Brown Trout went out at Willington Brewer's Droop in the decider. The league champions, Willington Club B were the only team to achieve a whitewash success when they did not drop a point to the visiting Willington Market.
Results: Willington Club B 2 Willington Market 0; Hunwick Joiners Arms 2 Willington Lion and Unicorn 1; Willington Brewer's Droop 2 Sunnybrow Brown Trout 1; Willington Club A 2 Willington Black Horse 1.

Kensington Cup
The only First Round match at Hunwick Club, where Howden Australian was expected to be a cracker but turned out to be a damp squib as the visitors only managed to take one point each from the pool and dominoes sections.
Jimmy Bainbridge proved to be the only successful Aussie pool player whilst Michael Richardson senior took the visitors only dominoes point. The triumphant Hunwick Club team was Mike O'Brien, Robert Todd, Alan Binks, Ian Richardson, Paul Maddison, Norman Laws and Dave Thompson.
