Spennymoor Legion Under-18s gained their first win of the season last week, coming from behind to beat visitors Coundon & Leeholme 2-1. Matthew Moffit opened for Coundon, Lee Atkinson levelling to make it 1-1 at half time. Atkinson scored the home winner midway through the second half.

Chilton YC suffered their first league defeat of the season in a midweek game last week, losing 2-1 away to Ferryhill. Kevin Hodgson gave Ferryhill an early lead, Andrew Fairley making it 2-0 shortly afterwards. Craig Mason pulled a goal back for Chilton with 15 minutes to go.

Chilton drew 1-1 at home to leaders Bishop Auckland. Gary Whittaker put Bishops ahead in the 65th minute, Adam Reid equalising for Chilton in the last minute. Dean Maddison was man of the match for Bishops. Second placed Coundon & Leeholme kept pace with Bishops with a 2-2 draw at home to Barnard Castle. The Barney lads led 1-0 at half time thanks to a goal from Thomas Lowes. Chris Scott and Michael Heighington scored in the second half to put Coundon 2-1 up, Barney levelling with a late penalty from Stuart Meney. Willington played three games last week, gaining two wins and a draw.

Willington opened with a 2-1 success away to Barnard Castle, Sean Brown scoring a late winner after Andrew Belew had countered Willington's opener from Paul Bayles. Willington then drew 1-1 at Ferryhill, Steve Howe opening the scoring in the second half , with Ferryhill equalising.

Willington won 4-0 at home to Spennymoor Legion. Michael Sanderson gave Willington a first half lead, Andrew Morris, Paul Bayles and Ian Wise added.
