The Dolphin Centre in Darlington play host to another night of boxing next week and two of the town's best fighters will be in action.
Michael 'Oscar' Hall and Andy Vickers are both on the bill next Friday (April 19) as is Micky Thompson of Spennymoor for what is expected to be a great night of boxing.
Sheffield-based Hall has been a professional for almost four years and his record so far is impeccable having has wracked-up 20 bouts, drawing one and losing none.
The last time out in Spennymoor Hall stopped his opponent in the fourth round but the Darlington-born light welterweight said the fight was good preparation for next week.
"The fight was stopped after I caught him with a body blow, the lad bent over and the referee stopped straight-away but it was a good warm-up for the Darlington show when there'll be a bit more pressure to win in front of all the people who want you to win.
Next week's bout will be the Brendan Ingle-trained fighter's only second fight in his hometown having last fought in Darlington 16 months ago.
He said: "The last time I had a fight in Darlington I thought that when I cam back it would be for something a bit more important, or for a title, but you've just got to be patient in this game.
"I've been talking to my manager and he says something important might happen in the next few months."
Tickets for the show are still available and can be bought from the Dolpin Centre on (01325) 388410, or from Mike Hall on 07815 858852. They're priced at £35 for a ringside seat while tiered seating tickets are £20 each.
