A choir is tuning up for its last concert of the season.
Durham Constabulary's Male Voice Choir will stage the concert in the assembly hall at police headquarters, Aykley Heads, Durham City, at 7pm next Saturday.
The choir comprises 38 singers, its highest number for more than 30 years, and demand for it to stage fundraising concerts stretches into next year.
Choir secretary, Sergeant Steve Taylor, said: "The programme will be a mix of popular numbers. We deliberately avoid anything too high-brow.
"We believe we have something to appeal to all."
The guest artist will be Deborah Wilson, a Canadian-born soprano now based in the North-East and a regular soloist with local choirs.
During the season, which started in September, the choir has given 18 concerts and raised almost £6,000 for local charities.
It has agreed a programme of 18 performances for the coming season, including one in Durham Cathedral, in December, to raise money for local cancer charities.
Tickets for the concert on April 27 cost £4 and are available from 0191-375 2728, or 0191-377 2914.
