PREPARATIONS for the North's largest gathering of Rover cars and Land Rovers are under way.
This year's Beamish All Rover Rally, which celebrates Rovers past and present, is on June 29 and 30, in the grounds of Beamish Open Air Museum, County Durham.
The event, organised by enthusiasts, includes vehicle displays, driving skills tests and an off-road course.
A spokesman said: "We invite anyone who owns a Rover, whether it is the latest model just out of the showroom or a tatty example that's seen better days, or anything in between."
For an entry form, call 0191-388 6872 or log on to www.rover-rally.com
