A security firm company has won a £500,000 Turkish contract.
Closed-circuit television firm Euro-teck, of Middlesbrough, will supply security systems to 60 bank branches in Turkey.
The contract will help the company increase staff levels and invest in a £1m move from Lawson Industrial Estate, in Middlesbrough, to the former Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council offices, in South Bank, near Middlesbrough.
The deal could now lead to contracts for similar equipment for bank chains in Greece and Saudi Arabia, involving more than 1,000 branches.
