A REUNION for former pupils, parents and teachers of a Newton Aycliffe school is planned next month.
Greenfield School will be holding an open day on May 4, from 10am and 5pm, for everyone who wants to be reunited with former friends and colleagues.
The school, which opened in 1977, has educated more than three thousand children over the past 25 years.
The reunion and open day is being held as part of the school's 25th anniversary celebrations.
An exhibition of photographs and memorabilia from the school's history will be staged in the gallery of the arts centre, and tour guides will be available for visitors to look around the school's new facilities.
Invitations have been sent to more than fifty former staff, and many ex-pupils are visiting the school's website: www.greenfield.durham.sch.uk to show their interest in visiting the open day.
