THE League's five cup finals will be played out over the next four weeks as 10 of the league's members bid for silverware.
Broompark Loves will take on Binchester Social Club in the first to take place next Sunday (April 28) - the Second Division Cup Final, kick-off 10.30am.
Huntsman will then take on Eldon Lane in the First Division Cup Final on Sunday May 5, while Europa - who this week knocked Newton Aycliffe out of the Invitation Cup - will play Spennymoor Thorns in the final on Friday May 10.
Broompark Loves will then compete in their second final of the season when they play Postchaise in the B&A Trophy Final on Sunday, May 12, and the last final of the season will be of the League Cup on Sunday, May 19.
The League Cup is currently at the semi-final stage, with Green Tree playing Old Shildon and Huntsman the Royal George this Sunday. All finals are to be held at Spennymoor United's Brewery Field.
Meanwhile, Binchester Social Club got into gear for their final next week with a 4-3 win over Masons United last week.
Jeff Morrow scored two, while Paul Sutton and Stuart McGowan both grabbed one a-piece to complete the win. David Maughan (2) and George Richardson scored for United.
Elsewhere in Division Two, Spennymoor Thorns beat Two Blues 4-1 to maintain their top-of-table status. Steve Richardson (2), Andrew Richardson and Mark Russell scored for Thorns and David Brown netted Blues' only goal.
The North Briton drew 1-1 with Shildon Athletic. Gary Toal scored for the Brit and Wayne Short for Athletic.
Broompark Loves beat Black Horse 6-2 thanks to goals by Mark Frost, Ben Roffe, Tony Robson, Brent Naylor, Gavin Wood and Neil Bacon - Karl Wilson and Graham Thompson scoring for Horse - while Green Tree beat Pit Laddie 5-1.
Trevor Dixon scored six goals and John Dean four to give the Boot & Shoe a 10-0 victory over the Locomotion.
In Division One last Sunday, Europa thrashed bottom-of-the-table Horndale 13-0, with striker Kevin Wilkinson grabbing no less than SEVEN goals! Other results were: Old Shildon 3 Eldon Lane 1; Royal George 5 Salvins 1; Newton Aycliffe 5 Laceys 1. Huntsman 3 Grand 2.
