THE artists of tomorrow are being recognised with North Yorkshire's third county-wide Schools' Art Exhibition.
More than 150 pupils from 15 schools have submitted work for the event, at County Hall, in Northallerton, which lasts until July.
Along with their parents, they were invited to see the overall display and be presented with a certificate by the chairman of the county council, Councillor Geoffrey Rennie. "Previous displays like this at County Hall have given a great deal of pleasure to members and visitors," he said.
"This latest exhibition is another great opportunity to showcase the artistic skills of pupils from across the county, underlining, as it does, the high academic attainments of North Yorkshire schools in general.
