SIXTH-FORM students have returned home with a clutch of sporting medals.
The Stockton Sixth Form College students took part in the British Colleges Under-19s finals in Swansea in a range of sports including hockey, netball, boys seven-a-side rugby and table tennis.
Julie Ward, head of sports, said: "Standards were very high, so we were delighted when our badminton players and a tennis player achieved outstanding success."
Bronze awards were presented to badminton players Gareth John, 18, who also plays for England, and Laura Whaley, 18, and Jetta Hamilton, 19, doubles.
Stacey Brown, 17, won the bronze medal for table tennis.
The college was also selected to appoint captains to head the northern team. Jonathon Austen, 18, was captain of the boys team and Jill Curbishley, 19, for the girls.
