A TALKING newspaper for the visually impaired has welcomed its latest guest to its new studios.
After legislation forced the Darlington and District Talking Newspaper for the Blind to move, The Northern Echo offered the charity a home on the ground floor of its offices in Priestgate, Darlington.
New studios were created, as well as office space.
Darlington Mayor Councillor Isobel Hartley, and her mayoress, Lilian Elliott, visited for an interview and tour yesterday.
Since moving to its new home, the talking newspaper has received a number of visitors, including Darlington MP Alan Milburn.
