A BURGLAR, who broke into a house just months after finishing a five-and-a-half year prison sentence, was jailed again yesterday.
Michael Philip Robinson, 25, of Borough Road, Darlington, admitted two charges of burglary at Teesside Crown Court.
Martina Connolly, prosecuting, said Robinson raided a house in Hartford Road, Darlington, while the occupants slept upstairs. He stole a lap- top computer worth £1,580 and £80 in cash.
He was also found with another man in a garage in Parkgate, Darlington, packing up £1,230 of cigarettes.
Rod Hunt, for Robinson, asked Judge Michael Taylor to make him a short-term prisoner.
The judge sentenced Robinson to three years in prison.
