BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond is taking part in an event to help raise money for a County Durham cancer charity.
The Golden Jubilee luncheon at Hardwick Hall, Sedgefield, on May 3, is the only speaking engagement Miss Bond has agreed to do this summer, because of commitments to the Jubilee celebrations.
The event starts at 10.30am with coffee and a look around several luxury food stands, before lunch at 12.30pm.
All money raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Relief's County Durham appeal.
* Tickets cost £30 per person, available by telephoning 0191-378 1188, or write to Macmillan Cancer Relief, County Durham Appeal, Meadowfield Clinic, 1 Frederick Street South, Meadowfield, County Durham, DH7 8LZ, including a stamped addressed envelope.
