A MAN has been questioned by police after a teenager was robbed of his mobile telephone in a Darlington street.
The alleged robbery happened in Parkgate at about 8pm on Thursday, while the 18-year-old man was walking alone.
He was approached by two men, who threatened him.
As they were doing so, the pair went through his pockets and found his mobile phone, a Sony J5 handset, worth £120.
The man, in his early 20s, who was arrested, was picked up by police nearby later that evening and interviewed yesterday by police in Darlington.
He was released without charge on police bail pending further inquiries.
The phone has not been recovered.
