DARLINGTON Building Society has announced a new three-year sponsorship deal with the North Yorkshire and South Durham cricket league.
The league also has a new title - the North Yorkshire and South Durham Premier League - to more accurately reflect the standard of cricket being played.
This will be the 12th consecutive season that the society has sponsored the league, which consists of 25 teams based throughout the region from Barnard Castle to Redcar.
League president Ken Gardner said: "The society is renowned for its support of grass roots sport and I would like to thank them for their involvement with the league in the past and to express my gratitude for their commitment to our future success
