QUEEN Elizabeth Sixth Form College, Darlington lifted the Eric Bell Trophy after a 3-0 victory over St Mary's College, Middlesbrough in the final.
The trophy is played for by college C teams playing in the Teesside League.
After the final at Darlington RA's ground, Queen Elizabeth teacher and team manager Mark Scott said: "It was a good team performance, but we had to work hard.
"In the end we were well on top and were by far the better team. The players deserved the victory for their efforts during the season - we only lost one game."
A goal by Paul Metcalfe put Queen Elizabeth ahead and a particularly good save by goalkeeper Graeme Potts ensured the Darlington side kept their 1-0 lead to half-time.
The second half saw St Mary's tiring and goals in quick succession by Jamie Langburn and John Sunter in the final 15 minutes clinched the victory for Queen Elizabeth.
