A host of daffodils in the grounds of a Darlington church bring a splash of colour to the town.
Despite chilly weather yesterday, the blooms at Holy Trinity Church, in Woodland Road, served as a reminder that summer is on its way.
The town will soon be awash with colour as Darlington Borough Council gardeners prepare for the town's entry into this year's Britain in Bloom competition.
