Spennymoor Comprehensive School's year seven netball team remained unbeaten to win the Under-12 Area Netball Tournament at St John's RC School, Bishop Auckland.
The girls beat Tudhoe Grange by five goals to three in the final, after defeating a team from Greenfield Community Arts College in the semi-final.
The Spennymoor team members have been awarded medals and certificates to mark their success, which will be presented to them at the next school assembly.
Head of PE at the school, Linda Schofield, said: "They played exceptionally well with a positive attitude. They were good ambassadors for the school."
