THE Great Yorkshire Show is taking to four wheels in a marketing first for the region's premier agricultural event.
Thanks to Knaresborough Toyota and York Toyota, the show has its own customised vehicle to promote the event.
The RAV 4 diesel is covered with important details including the dates, July 9 to 11, and will be around Yorkshire over the next three months.
Marketing executive Fiona Movley said: "This is a first for the show: we've never promoted it in this way before.
"It will tow our mobile exhibition unit and we're hoping to highlight the message around the area that Yorkshire's greatest performance is back following last year's cancellation.
"We're hoping as many people will come and talk to us and find out what's happening at this year's show."
The show will be the 144th after the event was cancelled last year because of the foot-and-mouth crisis.
Ticket prices have been held at 2000 levels. An adult ticket costs £12, over-60s £9 and children between five and 15 £6. There are discounts available for tickets booked in advance.
