A YOUNG boy whose disappearance sparked a police alert over the weekend was back at home last night.
Ten-year-old Matthew Little went missing from his home in Cornlands, Norton, near Malton, on Saturday afternoon.
He was last seen at 3.10pm and when he failed to return in the evening a major alert was issued.
Police launched a search for the blond youngster and urged local residents to search their gardens, garages and outbuildings for any signs of him.
However, early yesterday morning North Yorkshire police called the search off.
A police spokesman said: "We found the young man at about 8.35am and everything is in order."
