AN east Cleveland nursery is holding a spring open day this weekend to encourage parents to consider its services. Jack In The Box Nursery, in the old Co-op buildings, in High Street, Loftus, comes under the umbrella of the Redcar and Cleveland Early Years and Development Partnership.
The nursery was one of the first on Teesside to gain an Investors In People quality kitemark, which organisers say proves its commitment to providing an excellent childcare service for parents and their children. The open day takes place on Saturday,, between 10am and 2pm. For further information contact (01287) 203030.
Grab your partner: Guisborough Quoit Club has a series of country music acts next month. Dancers are welcome. Club nights are on Wednesdays, from 8.30pm, with a cover charge of £1.50, barring ticket shows. For more details, call (01287) 633041.
Temporary lights: There will be temporary traffic signals for the next two weeks at the Kirkleatham Lane junction with the A1085 Trunk Road, at Redcar, to allow for signing works.
Coffee morning: A coffee morning takes place on Saturday at the Aged People's Club, in Pearl Street, Saltburn, from 10am until noon. There will be cakes, stalls and a raffle. Admission is free.
