SCOUTS DISPLAY: Children interested in becoming Scouts can meet representatives of the Crook and Weardale District Scouts Group at a display in Crook's Co-op store on Saturday, from 10am to 2pm.
HAT-TRICK HEROES: Two Crook Town Cricket Club bowlers took hat-tricks in the Readers Durham County League last Saturday.
Simon Huscroft took three wickets in three balls for the first eleven at Tudhoe, while Neal Davies equalled the feat bowling for the second eleven at home to Tudhoe.
Club officials are delving into the record books to see if the feat has been achieved before.
SUPPORTERS' TRAVEL: The Crook and District branch of the Sunderland Supporters Association are taking a bus to Charlton for the Barclaycard Premier League fixture on Saturday.
The bus will pick supporters up en route from Crook to Newton Aycliffe. To book a seat ring (01388) 766750.

MUSIC HALL: Crook Library presents a taste of the music hall with Eileen Glenton, on Wednesday, May 15, at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £2, or £1 for concessions, which includes refreshments.
