DANCE artist Daniel Bedingfield is the latest star to sign up for a charity concert in the region.
The chart-topper, who shot to fame with his multi-platinum selling hit Got to Get Through This, will join a host of other stars at Gateshead International Stadium for the Galaxy Out There concert, in aid of The Prince's Trust.
Another act which is to appear in the concert, on Saturday, June 29, is British all-girl trio Mis-teeq, who enjoyed massive success with One Night Stand and are currently in the charts with Be With Me.
The line up already includes pop sensations Blue, Liberty X, Sugababes, Ian Van Dahl and Lasgo.
"H" and Claire from Steps will act as presenters.
Martyn Healy, Galaxy radio's managing director, said: "The event is only attracting number one artists such as Daniel Bedingfield and Blue.
"It's great for the region to have all these stars under one roof at Gateshead International Stadium, and this is just for starters.
"Further artists due to be announced in the next few weeks will have the world's paparazzi heading for the North-East."
Tickets for the concert, priced at £17.50 plus a booking fee, are available from the Galaxy website at www.galaxy1056.co.uk, the booking hotline on 0870 730 7305 and from all North-East HMV stores.
