Guisborough sixth formers are on a high after scoring 100 per cent in a maths exam.
Eleven lower-sixth students from Prior Pursglove College proved expert number-crunchers after receiving top marks in an AS-level pure mathematics paper.
Their achievement is even more impressive because they sat the exam six months earlier than normal.
Maths tutor, Tricia Prince, said: "The students are expert mathematicians with a love of the subject. We decided to enter them early and they've come up trumps. The whole group is to be congratulated for their hard work and effort."
The 16 and 17-year-old algebra enthusiasts include Daniel Martinez and Luke Johnson, who both formerly attended Acklam Grange School; Benjamin Thorpe (Ormesby School), Ben Tyremen (Huntcliff School) and Clare Hart (Warsett).
Gareth Clay, Stephen Harrap, Geoffrey Lam, Caroline Taylor, Helen Smith and Katie Shields all previously attended Laurence Jackson School in Guisborough
