CHILDREN in Middlesbrough have until noon today to vote for the town's first youth mayor.
About 9,000 pupils from local secondary schools have been deciding which of 11 candidates to appoint since the polls opened last Friday.
Whoever is elected will have at least £30,000 to spend on priorities which concern young people in the town - funds put up by Middlesbrough Council and sponsors.
The winner will be announced on Tuesday afternoon.
