Hunwick and Brewer's Droop in final
The final of this years competition will be between Willington Brewer's Droop A and Hunwick Club, after they came through two very different semi-finals.
The Brewer's entertained the Prospect Club and shared the pool singles when Michael Pickles, Billy Wragg and Colin Lee won for the home side and Phil Blyth, Lane Sample and Steven Britton levelled. The Brewer's then edged ahead when they had dominoes wins from Billy Wragg, Jimmy Flemming and Michael Pickles against the prospect's winners, Adrian Peacock and Steven Britton.
Alan Lee and Paul Williams took the first pool doubles for the home side to leave them one short of victory. However Adrian Peacock and Steven Britton took the next for the Prospect to take the match to the final point and a possible decider. The brewer's edged their way to victory when Jason Gibson and Colin Lee beat Trevor Allchurch and Ernie Sample in the final frame.

The successful Hunwick team were Alan Binks, Paul Maddison, David Thompson, Ian Richardson, Nigel Laws and Robert Todd.
