UNIVERSITY graduates Liam Dawson and Mark Overfield are making a name for themselves in the modelling industry - without a catwalk in sight.
Liam, 24, from Guisborough, and Mark, 22, from Brotton have used their technical skills to secure promotional design work for the modelling and fashion industry.
One of the latest contracts for their company, Oddesigns, in Middlesbrough, has been to provide website design and print work for Push, a London agency which provides models and presenters for publicity events.
Their creative designs are also attracting interest from motor shows, TV production companies and magazines.
The pair are taking part in the Upstarts programme, a regional scheme aimed at helping 31 students and graduates break into entrepreneurship.
It also provides budding businesses with a mentor from the professional sector.
Liam and Mark have been working with Neil Stephenson, sales and marketing director at Onyx Internet, of Middlesbrough.
Liam said: "The Upstarts workshops have been excellent in providing us with an insight into how to further develop the business.
"We want to concentrate our efforts on the fashion and motor industry to become specialists in this field.
