MODEL-MAKER extraordinaire Molly Glew is hard at work on her latest painstaking creation.
Slowly taking shape in the workshop of her home at Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire, is a meticulous matchstick likeness of Truro Cathedral, in Cornwall.
The pensioner is renowned for her astonishingly detailed models of a wide variety of buildings, which in the past have included York Minster and Salisbury Cathedral. Her model of Truro Cathedral is expected to take up to another year to complete and she is using photographs as a guide.
"My husband and I once visited the cathedral and we fell in love with it. I have always wanted to make a model version," she said.
