AN EAST Durham town is planning a host of bank holiday fun next Monday.
Seaham Town Council has organised a day which begins at 11am and continues until 3pm at Deneside Park.
The programme includes a Punch and Judy Show, Mr Windbags the Clown, the Tyne Bridge Morris Dancers, Parkside Youth and Dance group, Maypole dancing by Deneside Junior and Infant School and a bouncy castle.
Families from the area are invited to join in the fun, which will also include chances to win prizes.
There will also be a teddy bears' picnic, and children are invited to bring along their teddies dressed in their Sunday best.
Anyone arriving by car is asked to use the car parks along the Dalton-le-Dale road and not to park on the public highway.
Further information is available by telephoning 0191-581 2943.
