PLANS to create 70 jobs at a chemical plant on Teesside have been approved.
Halterman Custom Processing, on the ICI Process Plant Park in Billingham, needed to extend its storage facilities to meet demand for its services over the next five years.
The company needs to provide new storage tanks to enable the business to grow and provide increased employment.
At a meeting of Stockton Borough Council's planning committee, councillors agreed to plans to create 78 steel storage tanks.
The tanks will have a total capacity of 14,280 tonnes and hold a variety of chemicals.
The 70 jobs will come over the next five years.
