RESIDENTS are being invited to take part in a programme of activities to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
St Cuthbert's Hospice is working alongside Durham City Forum on a range of activities to mark the jubilee, on Monday, June 3.
Locals are being invited to take their teddy bears for a parachute jump, enter a competition to be named Best Dressed Queen, or make the best crown. There will also be a city treasure hunt and a raffle to win a car for 50p.
Chris Rawlinson, Durham city centre manager, said: "We are delighted to be supporting the hospice, and are looking forward to working alongside St Cuthbert's."
To contribute to the event, call the hospice's fundraising department on 0191-386 1170.
